TP – Students will create and analyze a budget by using the functions and features of Microsoft Excel

As you get older and become more responsible for your own financial stability, it is important to learn how to budget your money properly.  In this lesson you will view what is like to create a budget.  The information about what money is spent and gained are included, but you will need to formulate the spreadsheet for the proper calculation.  A follow-up project will have you create your own budgets.  Directions and rules are in the following link.

As you perform these tasks, think about your own monetary needs.  How do you get money?  Where do you spend it?
